Chicken Broth

My Dad told me his Granny Mary used to make chicken broth. They used to have roast chicken and make the broth.

To make it, you will need:

• The carcass of a roast chicken
• Some potatoes
• Carrots
• Onions

(And a Huge Saucepan)

Nanny Mary would steep the carcass in a big pot on the range overnight. She would then strain the stock to remove the bones. Then, she added the vegetables and simmered until thick.
