Celebration of 'Our Irish Women's' Exhibition

The museum of Country Life, Turlough initiated a project relating to the contribution made by women in their local community. 17 submissions were received and each one identified the achievements of women in their own areas. One such submission was made by Milltown Heritage Group. The lady chosen was Dr Nora McGarry. The official launch of the exhibition took place in the museum on Fri 9^th November and members of the McGarry family were in attendance. The submission is available to view on www.milltown.galwaycommunityheritage.org The actual exhibition is located in the National Museum of Country Life, Turlough until the 25^th Nov 2018.
