Our Irish Women Exhibition comes to Milltown Community Centre

Travelling Exhibition

Museum of Country Life, Turlough initiated a project relating to the contribution made by women in their local community. 17 submissions were received and each one identified the achievements of women in their own areas. One such submission was made by Milltown Heritage Group. The lady chosen was Dr Nora McGarry. The official launch of the exhibition took place in the museum on Fri 9^th November 2018 and members of the McGarry family were in attendance.

The exhibition is now travelling throughout the county and will be on display in

Milltown Community Centre

Sat 6^th April (11:30 – 2pm)
