Lizard

🦎 Ireland’s only native reptile – the common lizard is the only reptile that naturally lives in Ireland and has been spotted in Ardnagall bog!

🌱 They are small and green, usually about 10 to 16 cm long

🦴 Lizards have four legs and a long tail – perfect for zooming through grass and hiding in bushes!

🌞 They love the sun . You might spot them sunbathing on a rock, but they hibernate in winter.

🐛 They are carnivores, which means they eat insects, worms, slugs, and snails!
