14 Slí na Sláinte

The Milltown Sli na Slainte opened in 2001 and is 4.5km long.  Beginning at the carpark opposite the church and heading south, the route takes you through Dawros Bog and over the River Clare at Russelstown Bridge.  From here you will see the ruins of Millbrook House, the ruins of Birmingham’s Mill, a small children’s burial ground and further on the Russelstown Ringfort.  You will return to the village via the Dunmore Road.
