Stations in Conagher

 

In this picture are my great grandfather and all his brothers and sisters.

This is a picture taken at my grannie’s home in Conagher.

They were having the stations which is mass in their home. All the best dishes were used. They would have homemade brown bread and meat and lots of cups of tea. They also would have dessert as it was a special occasion.

Having the stations was a very big occasion and only the best of food was eaten.
