Recipe from my mother from Cork

- Mixed herbs
- Peel and chop potatoes thickly and steam until cooked.
- Peel and chop the onion.
- In a small saucepan melt a dollop of butter.
- Add onions, sauté half of them.
- Add milk to saucepan and boil.
- Place boiled potatoes into bowl and mash.
- Add mixture to bowl and mash once more.
- Place mixture into casserole dish and leave to cool.
