Christmas Dinner

My favourite food is Christmas Dinner. On Christmas day, Mom made me and Dad dinner. We had brussel sprouts, gravy, carrots and a turkey along with some potatoes.

Our cake was sponge with Christmas icing on top.

Recipe:

6 oz of caster sugar

6 eggs (separated)

6 oz of flour

1 packet of red and white icing

and 1 ribbon

We also had Ginger Bread

Recipe for Ginger Bread

12 oz of flour                                                   3 oz soft brown sugar

1 tsp bread soda                                             2 eggs beaten

2 tsps of ginger                                                4 fl oz milk (optional)

1 tsp of mixed spice

6 oz of butter

4 oz of golden syrup

4 oz of black treacle
