My Granny’s Brown Scones

Ingredients
- 125g of wholemeal flour
- 125g plain flour
- ¼ teaspoon of soda bread
- 25g of sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 115ml buttermilk
Method
Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl.
Add the buttermilk.
Knead until the dough is elastic.
Roll the dough out to 1cm thick on a floured board.
Bake at 230°c.
Put it in for 25 minutes.
Enjoy
Sometimes, she makes it on special occasions. She would put a secret ingredient in. She didn’t tell what the secret ingredient is but the Brown Scones are really nice.
